Exceptional front of house receptionists working in the corporate sector for 2023. “All the 2023 finalists were simply incredible and should be very proud of their achievements. We hope that this competition will attract more talented individuals to our sector of the hospitality industry,” says Dirk Talsma, Chair of Corporate Receptionist of the Year Award.
The rigorous judging process
To bring alive their own personalities, each individual created a short video which they submitted with their application and CV. The twenty best were reviewed by an independent panel of judges to select the ten finalists.
All the finalists were invited to an assessment day and put through rigorous tests by nine judges. Each of them took part in a traditional interview, a role play and a phone play scenario as well as a group exercise to see how they behaved in a team.
Derek Williams Head Judge & Founder of The WOW! Awards said “I have just judged the finalists and I would love to employ them all! They demonstrated amazing standards of professionalism and skill in delivering great service. These awards are most definitely raising standards for Corporate Receptionists in all sectors and encouraging new people to enter the industry.”
